Matthew studied at Dublin City University from where he graduated in 2007 with an honours Bachelor of Business Studies Degree.
Matthew attended the Law Society of Ireland, qualifying as a solicitor in 2011. Matthew trained with the firm of Carvill Rickard and Company in Dublin.
He worked for just over a year with AIB NAMA, joining McKeever Taylor in February 2013. Matthew is now Senior Associate in the firm.

Matthew has a significant personal injury practice, specialising in Plaintiff claims. He has handled claims at all levels, ranging from the Personal Injuries Assessment Board all the way up to the High Court. He has advised Clients with all levels of injuries, up to and including catastrophic injuries.
PROBATE
Matthew shares with Robert Taylor the bulk of the firm’s probate practice. Matthew has extensive experience in all forms of estate administration, including probate litigation. He has advised executors and beneficiaries on the optimal approach for administering estates to maximise value for the beneficiaries.
BANKING & COMMERCIAL LENDING
Matthew had extensive experience in banking and commercial lending. He has worked extensively on behalf of Ulster Bank Ireland dac in relation to a whole range of commercial lending matters, commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential.
Matthew also has extensive experience in commercial conveyancing, advising in relation to the purchase of hotels, industrial units and retail outlets.
